- The parties could agree on oil and gas swaps by the end of this year
According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on November 1, 2022, Russia and Iran have already started swap supplies of petroleum products, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters after the meeting of the Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission.
"We have already started petroleum products’ swaps, agreed to expand the range of relevant products - this is a promising area also," Novak said.
Russia and Iran could agree on oil and gas swaps by the end of this year, the Russian official told reporters earlier.
