Sasol and Haldor Topsoe have expanded their cooperation to license and develop their synthetic fuels and chemicals technologies. Sasol and Haldor Topsoe recently licensed their respective SynCOR™ and Fischer-TropschTM technologies to a Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) venture in Uzbekistan. These two technologies offer integrated end-to-end solutions to produce sustainable liquid fuels and chemicals utilising sustainable CO2, green hydrogen, and renewable energy.
In addition, Topsoe is developing an electrified reforming platform and solid oxide electrolysis. Meanwhile, Sasol is working on a next-gen Fischer-Tropsch catalyst to further maximise product yields and hydrogen conversion efficiency. This will together help users eliminate fuel and chemical greenhouse gas emissions. Users will also enjoy the benefits of Sasol and Topsoe joining as a single-point licensor.
