According to the company’s website news release on March 2023, SCGP is committed to innovation and sustainability for evolving the way of people’s life, by giving importance to ESG, which is the heart of business operations, considering about the stakeholders in all dimensions, and consistently disclosing information transparently for the business to grow steadily on the basis of sustainability. Thus, SCGP has outstanding achievements in 3 areas: Environmental, Social and Governance, resulting in SCGP being assessed for sustainability at the Gold Class level, the assessment result was in the top 1% and was an Industry Mover; a listed company with outstanding development and significant increase in sustainability assessment scores compared to the previous year.
This year, S&P Global has assessed the sustainability of more than 7,800 companies around the world, of which 710 companies announced in The Sustainability Yearbook 2023 are 37 companies from Thailand, ranked 5th in the world, divided into 4 levels: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Member. For Gold Class, there are 12 companies from Thailand, the second is the United States, 11 companies, the third is Taiwan and Italy, 7 companies.
