On Tuesday, sources familiar with plant operations said that Royal Dutch Shell Plc. planned to restart the 40,000 bpd reformer on its Norco, Louisiana, refinery over the weekend.
Shell spokesman Curtis Smith rejected requests to comment.
Previously on Monday, the refinery had restarted the 40,000 bpd naphtha hydrotreater. Previously in early June, the units were shut for planned maintenance.
