On Wednesday, some sources familiar with plant operations said that Royal Dutch Shell Plc would keep the 227,400 bpd Norco, Louisiana, refinery running through Hurricane Delta’s landfall later this week.
However, the plan could change, depending on the developments in the forecast intensity and path of Delta.
Previously, the Norco refinery was shut on September 14 ahead of Tropical Storm Sally, and then production resumed at normal levels.
