Japan’s Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) stated that it has obtained a license to process industrial waste and has started to process crushed and molded used plastic on its Kawasaki plant.
SDK’s Kawasaki Plastic Recycling (KPR) plant has been operating its plastic chemical recycling business under the provisions of the Containers and Packaging Recycling Law.
The license enables SDK to diversify sources of used plastics.
