According to TASS, Russia's state-owned news agency article published on January 30, 2023, Sibur has reduced its share of sales in Europe from 20% to below 5%, a member of the management board and the executive director of the Russian petrochemical company Sergey Komyshan said in an interview with TASS.
"Of course, we had to significantly redirect sales from the European market to the Asian one. Our share of European sales fell from 20% to below 5%," he said.
Earlier, Komyshan expressed hope that some of the restrictions on the supply of Russian petrochemicals to Europe would be lifted over time, Sibur remains interested in supplies to this region.
