Siemens AG and Bentley Systems will provide their digital twin solutions for the largest integrated petrochemical complex in Indonesia operated by Chandra Asri. The company is set to double its capacity in the next five years to meet growing petrochemical demand from Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries. The digital twin will be implemented at Chandra Asri complex in Cilegon city in phases, from 2020 to 2025.
Siemens and Bentley jointly developed PlantSight digital twin solution will enable companies to utilize real-time analytics and handle more IIoT data. The technology also uses artificial intelligence to gain insights and allow real-time Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance collaboration. The digital twin solution is based on Siemens’ COMOS integrated plant management and Bentley’s AssetWise asset performance software.
In addition, the plant will also use OpenPlant and ProSteel, engineering design tools developed by Bently to model and maintain piping and structural information as well as managing data integrity and accuracy throughout the lifecycle. FKA Global will integrate the systems and provide digitization services, maintenance, and post-implementation updates of the solution.
