Sinopec-SK Wuhan Petrochemical Co plans to overhaul the 170,000-bpd refinery for about 50 days of maintenance starting in late October. It will also shut an 800,000 tons/year ethylene plant in mid-October for maintenance for about 50 days. The ethylene unit is operated in a joint venture with South Korea’s SK Innovation.
