AlwaysFree: SOCAR Energy Ukraine Increases Gasoline Imports By 43.9%

SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary Azerbaijan’s state-owned SOCAR, increased gasoline imports to Ukraine by 43.9% year-on-year to 5,900 tons in September. The company was Ukraine’s sixth-largest gasoline-importing company in that month. For the first nine months of the year, SOCAR Energy Ukraine’s gasoline imports stood at 100,100 tons, falling by 25,600 tons from a year earlier.

SOCAR Energy Ukraine also imported 43,900 tons of LPG in the September period of 2020, increasing by 1,600 tons from the same month last year. Last month, The company was Ukraine’s eighth-largest LPG importer. For the January-September period, the company’s LPG imports increased by 5% year-on-year to 1.1 million tons. SOCAR Energy Ukraine was established in 2008. The company operates a network of fuel stations and organizes wholesale of gasoline and other oil products in Ukraine.
