Some sources familiar with plant operations said that on Wednesday, ExxonMobil Corp. had completed the restart of the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) at its refinery in Beaumont, Texas.
The company began restarting the FCC on Tuesday.
Previously, on Monday, the 120,000-bpd FCC and a 75,000-bpd reformer were shut due to a power outage that hit a variety of units on the north side of the refinery. Other than that, two hydrotreaters, another reformer, and a power plant were also halted by the outage.
