Sources familiar with operations said that Louisiana refineries belong to ExxonMobil Corp. and PBF Energy still operated during the storm Cristobal on Sunday and Monday.
On Monday, Exxon’s Baton Rouge refinery and PBF’s Chalmette refinery kept operating on Monday as Cristobal weakened to a tropical depression and was moving across northern Louisiana.
