Two market sources said that on Monday, the 90,000 bpd gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) of LyondellBasell Industries’ Houston refinery is running at a minimum production capacity after restarting on Sunday.
The FCC was shut due to the fire on February 16 which led to the findings of several big cracks in the reactor. Last week, the repair was finalized.
LyondellBasell’s spokesman declined to comment.
