AlwaysFree: TAQA, ADNOC Announce Green Energy Joint Venture

Abu Dhabi’s TAQA and ADNOC announced on Wednesday that they would set up a new joint venture that will focus on green hydrogen and renewable power. The new venture is expected to have at least 30 GW of renewable energy in its portfolio by 2030. That will put the UAE in the forefront of the world’s energy transition. The partnership will focus on renewable power, waste-to-energy, and green hydrogen projects both in the UAE and abroad. It will leverage ADNOC’s hydrogen and energy capabilities and TAQA’s expertise in the development and optimization of renewable power, especially low-cost solar power.
