On Thursday, the offshore oil production in the US Gulf of Mexico was still down from the normal level as the region is still recovering from Hurricane Laura.
According to the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), the region’s offshore oil output slumped by 16.3% or 301,077 bpd.
Natural gas output was also slashed by 16% or 420 mcfd yesterday.
