French Total SA’s CEO Patrick Pouyanne stated that the company is assessing the possibility of establishing a fully electrified liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Oman.
The project will have a capacity of 1 million tonnes of LNG and will be powered by batteries from nearby farms aside from solar energy.
The pilot project aims to cut the fuel’s greenhouse gas emissions.
