On Monday night, Total SA began the restarting process of the diesel hydrotreater and coker at its 225,500 bpd refinery in Port Arthur, Texas, according to some sources familiar with plant operations.
The sources added that the company plans to begin the restarting process of the refinery’s crude distillation units as early as Wednesday.
Previously, the refinery was shut on August 25 due to Hurricane Laura.
Total declined request to comment.
