On Monday, French Total S.A. said that the5.4 mtpa Lindsey refinery in Lincolnshire, northeast England will be sold to Prax Group.
Bernard Pinatel, president of Total Refining & Chemicals, said that as Lindsey refinery had not been a part of Total’s downstream system after the sale of its British retail network in 2011, the refinery would be put in better use within the Prax Group.
The Prax Group is an independent player with a growing UK network.
