On Friday, Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) said that in July, the country’s total oil imports went up by 6.1% year-on-year to 4.3 mt.
Crude oil imports rose by 7.6% to 3.09 mt, with Iraq being the top exporter at 1.04 mt. Russia and Nigeria followed with 975,275 tonnes and 713,896 tonnes, respectively.
In July, Turkey’s oil refinery product output declined by 11.5% to 2.8 mt, diesel slumped by 22.4% to 1.6 mt, and gasoline nosedived by roughly 25.7% to 338,971 tonnes.
The sales of domestic oil products rose by 4.4% year-on-year to 2.9 mt.
