Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) said in its monthly oil market report that in June, the country’s total oil imports went down by 11.6% year-on-year to 2.78 mt.
Crude oil imports lost 22% compared to the corresponding time in 2019 to 1.65 mt. The highest imports came from Iraq at 823,866 t, followed by Russia at 735,783 t and Saudi Arabia at 420,084 t.
Oil products from refinery slumped by 11.4% to 2.26 mt and gasoline output plunged by close to 53.6% to 208,036 t. Meanwhile, diesel output jumped by 15.4% to 1.21 mt.
The total sales of oil products in June slipped by 5.5% on a yearly basis to 2.48 mt.
