Russian chemical company Shchekinoazot posted a stable result of two years operation of its methanol and ammonia co-production plant based on Haldor Topsoe’s IMAP process.
As the first methanol plant in the world that also allows the production of small volumes of ammonia, Shchekinoazot has a capacity to co-produce 450,000 tpa of methanol and 135,000 tpa of ammonia.
