According to Interfax, Russian news agency’s article published on November 17, 2022, Ukraine imported 5.797 million tonnes of oil products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil and jet fuel (customs code TNVED2710) in the first ten months of 2022, 13.1% less than in the same period of last year, Ukrainian media reported, citing the State Customs Service.
By value, however, oil product imports jumped 70.2% to $6.9 billion, including $793.511 million from Belarus, $755.721 million from India, $635.008 million from Poland and $4.7 billion from other countries.
Ukraine exported 56,070 tonnes of oil products worth $66.409 million in the period, respectively 80% and 59.4% less than a year earlier. The country exported $16.404 million worth of fuel to Lithuania, $11.537 million to Turkey, $6.022 million to Estonia and $32.446 million to other countries.
Ukraine's revenue from electricity exports surged 150% year-on-year to $542.514 million in the ten months, including 330% to $113.399 million in October alone, customs data showed.
Ukraine's electricity imports grew by 140% to $148.888 million in the ten months, including $100.414 million from Belarus, $30.714 million from Belgium, $14.132 million from Moldova and $3.628 million from other countries.
Electricity imports jumped to $15.31 million in October from $387,000 a year earlier.
