AlwaysFree: US Gulf Coast Utilization Rate Lowest Since Hurricane Harvey

On Thursday, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data showed that last week, the refinery utilization rate in the US Gulf Coast slumped to the lowest level since Hurricane Harvey in September 2017 causing widespread flooding and outages.

In the week ended September 4, the US Gulf Coast refinery utilization rate fell to 63.9%.

Gasoline inventories dropped to the lowest level since November 2019, by 3 million barrels to 231.9 million barrels.
