On Tuesday, the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) said that the offshore crude oil output from the US Gulf continued to recover after Hurricane Delta made a landfall.
The amount of crude oil production shut dropped to 44% or 805,965 bpd. On Monday, 69% or 1.3 million bpd in crude output was remained shut.
The offshore natural gas production in the region also showed recovery, with only 30% or 809 mmcfd being shut by yesterday. In comparison, on Monday, roughly 47% or 1.28 bcfd were still off.
Between October 6 and 13, the total shut output from the Gulf due to Delta was 10.9 million barrels of crude and 10.4 bcf of natural gas.
