- A global trading house contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM on May 12 revealed the latest import PP Homo Raffia offers from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer. According to the source, offers for PP Homo Raffia stand at $990/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. The trader was not able to provide price comparison, but according to the trader, PP Homo Raffia offers from this particular producer is always on the high side.
- In the futures market, SSESSMENTS.COM noted that PP prices are moving south. On April 8, PP prices in the futures market settled at CNY7,004/ton ($970/ton). However, as of April 11, September 2020 PP futures on the Dalian Exchange decreased by CNY121/ton ($17/ton) settling at CNY6,883/ton ($971/ton) ex-warehouse by Monday close.
