- A Chinese trader contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM informed its latest price list for the local market. As compared to last Friday’s level, the trader maintained a stable offer level for PP Homo Raffia grades, except for grade Z30S. In a bid to boost sales and stimulate buying sentiment, the trader initiated a price reduction of CNY300/ton ($42/ton) for PP Homo Raffia grade Z30S as compared to the same period. Current price list for PP Homo Raffia from the trader is available between CNY7,300-7,800/ton ($1,028-1,098/ton) on cash, EXW China basis and including 13% VAT.
- Similarly, another Chinese trader reported on maintaining a stable offer level for local PP Homo Raffia cargoes from a week earlier as changes in the futures market is not that significant. The latest offers from the trader are ranging between CNY7,500-7,550/ton ($1,056-1,063/ton) on cash, EXW China basis and including 13% VAT. SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that most downstream factories are holding back their purchases as export sales hit hard by the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic.
