- A trader based in China reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that offers for local PP Homo Raffia from the company’s end remained stable from last Friday's level. At the moment, the trader’s offers for the grade are available between CNY7,200-7,400/ton ($1,016-1,044/ton) on cash, EXW China basis and including 13% VAT.
- Meanwhile, another Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that local spot offers for PP Homo Raffia increased between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton) compared to last Friday’s level as supported by firmer futures prices. In the import market, offers for PP Homo Raffia of Vietnam origin are available at $860/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis, decreased by $120/ton compared to a fortnight ago. Despite the notable reduction, such a level is still unacceptable in China market. Hence, no deals concluded so far.
