- A Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that today’s offers for local PP Homo Raffia from the company’s end are adjusted up by CNY200/ton ($28/ton) compared to a day earlier. The increment was made following the firmer crude oil and futures prices. Additionally, the rebound in crude oil and futures prices has also stimulated buying sentiment in the China market. However, in general, most converters are still procuring on an as-needed basis.
- In the import market, another trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest offers for PP Homo Raffia to the China market. As reported, the trader’s offers for import PP Homo Raffia of South Korea and India origin are available between $680-685/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. For Southeast Asian cargoes, deals were successfully concluded for PP Homo Raffia of Vietnam origin at $740/ton on the same payment and delivery terms.
