- The leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced the fresh price list for the week commencing May 26. As compared to last week’s level, SSESSMENTS.COM noted that the producer decided to increase the offers for HDPE Film by IDR220,000/ton ($15/ton). Meanwhile, offers for LLDPE Film C4 remain stable at IDR12,170,000/ton ($825/ton) on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT.
- From the downstream market, an Indonesian converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company will halt the production activities until June 2 for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Supply on the converter’s end reported ample as such, the converter is not in a hurry to replenish the stocks after the holiday. Looking ahead, due to a lot of uncertainties in the market, the converter will remain cautious before procuring the materials.
