- The leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced a fresh price list for the week commencing May 18. As compared to last week’s second price list announced on May 12, SSESSMENTS.COM noted that the offers for PP Homo Raffia increased by IDR300,000/ton ($20/ton).
- A Vietnamese converter contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM revealed on receiving import offers for Saudi PP Homo Raffia at $830/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis on May 15. This level is higher by $30/ton as compared to done deals concluded two weeks ago. At the moment, the converter’s plant is running at 60% from the normal capacity as the converter did not receive any orders from the export market. Looking ahead, the converter stated a cloudy outlook due to the resurgence of Coronavirus cases in Wuhan, China.
