- A Thai trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the offers for PP Homo Raffia from a local producer increased by THB500/ton ($15/ton) on a weekly comparison, which is deemed unattractive. However, the trader is willing to sell at THB27,000/ton ($832/ton) on cash, FD Thailand basis, and excluding 7% VAT, or THB1,000/ton ($31/ton) lower from the initial offer level. Still, there is no inquiry from buyers were reported at the time of publication.
- While in Indonesia, a local converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the offer received for localized Southeast Asian PP Homo Raffia cargoes increased by IDR240,000/ton ($16/ton) compared to last week following the uptrend in China market. However, the converter prefers to only monitor the price movement for this week and will make new procurement next week.
