Chinese market players have placed a bid for LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer at an astonishing level, forming new low-end of the price range. A Chinese trader revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that this week the company procured Indonesian LLDPE Film C4 cargoes between $730-740/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis. As PE prices continue to be soft, for the second round of procurement the trader placed bids at $680/ton with the same payment and shipment term. However, the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer rejected the bids as the producer is not willing to sell that low yet.
