A Chinese PET producer informed SSESSMENTS regarding the latest offers for PET Bottle in the country. As reported by the producer, the current offers for local PET Bottle are between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton) higher than last week’s level. Similarly, offers to the export market are up by $10/ton from last week.
The producer further added to SSESSMENTS that the main reasons for the upward price adjustment are the improvement in demand for PET Bottle and hikes in monomer costs.
