Market sources informed SSESSMENTS.COM that Indian producers adjusted its local PE, PP prices with effect from May 14. As reported, the leading petrochemical producer in the country decided to adjust up local prices for LDPE GP and LDPE EC by INR1,000/ton ($13/ton). Meanwhile, offers for HDPE and LLDPE grades are rolled over. For PP, the producer also made an upward adjustment of INR1,000/ton ($13/ton) for PP Homo Raffia, except for grades 350EG and AS12000N increased by INR2,500/ton ($33/ton) and INR7,000/ton ($93/ton) respectively. Likewise, an Indian PP producer also increased local offers for PP grades by INR1,000/ton ($13/ton) with effect from May 14.
