NewsSSESSMENTS: Indian Trader: South African PP Cargoes Adjusted Remarkably Within A Week, PE Offers Remain Absent

Author: SSESSMENTS

An Indian trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM regarding South African PP cargoes that have been adjusted remarkably within a week. As reported by the trader, import offers for PP Homo Raffia of South Africa origin dropped by $50/ton in total compared to last week’s level. Despite the notable adjustment, buyers’ bids for the cargoes so far are mostly at $900/ton-level, $20/ton lower than the initial offer level. “We heard that other Asian countries, such as Indonesia and Vietnam also submitted bids for the South African cargoes at $900/ton-level, yet, no deals concluded at such a level so far,” the trader further added.

For PE cargoes, the trader has yet to receive any fresh import offers this week. However, the trader voiced out to SSESSMENTS.COM pertaining to the company’s sell idea for Saudi PE, PP offers. The sell idea for March shipment PE and PP cargoes from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer is $20/ton lower compared to February shipment offers. The trader informed that the offer is expected to come out in early March.
