A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of May 6. Compared to the price list received on Monday, April 27, local offers for PE across all grades increased between CNY100-500/ton ($14-70/ton), except for HDPE Injection 2911 and 2911FS dropped by CNY1,900/ton ($269/ton). Likewise, offers for local PP across all grades were adjusted up between CNY400-700/ton ($56-99/ton), except for PP Homo Fiber went down by CNY1,000/ton ($141/ton) as compared to the same period.
