NewsSSESSMENTS: Malaysian Converter Considering To Place Bids For Import Indian LLDPE Cargoes

Author: SSESSMENTS

A Malaysia-based converter is considering to place bids for import Indian LLDPE Film C4 cargoes, SSESSMENTS.COM was told. As noted, offers for LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Indian petrochemical producer slightly decreased by $10/ton as compared to last week’s offers. This week, the converter received August shipment offers at $870/ton on LC at sight, CIF Malaysia main port basis, with volume around 300 tons. At the moment, the converter is considering placing bids citing the sluggish demand for their end-product which is not that strong, and the drop in ethylene price, as well as the downtrend in the China market this week.
