A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM on the downward adjustments on import Thai PE offers to the country. Compared to the offers received on Monday, April 13, offers for LLDPE Film C4 from a Thai PE producer decreased by $60/ton. For LLDPE Injection, the offers recorded at $120/ton lower compared to the same period. As for HDPE Film cargoes from the same origin, the trader did not receive any updates. However, market talks have it that the offers stood at $900/ton, $60/ton lower than offers received on Monday.
Meanwhile for other origins, SSESSMENTS.COM was informed that Qatari LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 are available at $820/ton and $730/ton, respectively. Traders’ repackage US HDPE Film were offered at $725/ton. However, this level is considered too high as the trader heard that HDPE Film cargoes of the same origin were being offered at $700/ton. All offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis.
