A source from Philippines JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation informed SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on its naphtha cracker status. As reported, the cracker unit that was previously shut on March 31 due to some technical issues, is still off-line at the moment. The cracker unit with a capacity of 320,000 tons/year of ethylene and 190,000 tons/year of propylene is expected to restart production by mid-April.
