Comments by market players on PP Homo Raffia as follows:
“We received PP Homo Raffia offers from a Thai PP producer between $40-60/ton higher than last week. Meanwhile, offers for the same grade from a Saudi producer were adjusted up by $30/ton compared to the same period,” a Vietnamese trader informed SSESSMENT.COM.
“We managed to conclude deals for PP Homo Raffia from Vietnam at $750/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis as the cargoes were produced in a trial production phase,” an Indonesian converter reported.
Another Indonesian converter reported to SSESSMENT.COM, “Offers from a Vietnamese PP producer went up by $80/ton compared to a fortnight ago to $850/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis.”
“Offers for PP from Middle Eastern suppliers were not available yet. Our sell ideas for PP Homo Raffia are at $800/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis,” a global trading house told SSESSMENT.COM.
“PP offers are scarce this week. We only received offers for PP Homo Raffia from an Indian petrochemical producer at $10/ton higher than last week. Suppliers might offer tomorrow after observing the China market,” a Vietnamese trader commented on Tuesday, April 14.
“We increased export offers to Vietnam by $40/ton on a weekly comparison following the uptrend in the China market,” a Thai trader revealed to SSESSMENT.COM.
“Offers from a Thai PP producer for PP Homo Raffia were available between $800-820/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam main port basis. The offers were between $50-70/ton higher than last week’s levels. No offers for cargoes of China origin as Chinese producers prefered to sell to the domestic market due to the uptrend in local prices,” a Vietnamese converter reported to SSESSMENT.COM.
