A local trader in Indonesia revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that shipment for LDPE Film cargoes from a Thai PE producer to the country will be delayed for around one week. According to the trader’s information, the cargoes were scheduled to ship in early May but delayed to the second week of the month.
The trader cited that the producer was unable to apply for the relevant customs export permits amid Coronavirus outbreak. “Since the Thai government has asked the officer to work from home as a measure to curb the spread of the virus, the application process is taking longer than usual,” the trader added to SSESSMENTS.COM.
