An Indonesian converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM regarding supply disruption on HDPE Blow Moulding from a foreign supplier. According to the source, a Singaporean HDPE producer has cut the allocation for July shipment for HDPE Blow Moulding by 30% from the normal quantity. Moreover, the producer also delays the shipment of the materials. Commenting on this matter, the converter stated, “We do not really know why the producer cut the allocation and delayed the shipment, but we opined that the producer is in short supply at the moment. However, the disruption does not cause any issues on our end since the demand for our end-products also decreased significantly. We are practically in a hard situation since HDPE Blow Moulding prices keep increasing while demand is going down.”
