SSESSMENTS.COM was told that an Indonesian trader dodges import PE offers of a certain origin. Compared to a week earlier, the offers for import Middle Eastern and US HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes to the Indonesia market maintained stable, considering the current levels are already too high. Similar to last week, the trader secured Saudi LLDPE Film C4 at $850-855/ton and managed to sell it at $870/ton to the Vietnam market. While for HDPE Film cargoes of the same origin, the trader purchased the cargoes at $880/ton and sold at $900/ton to Indonesian buyers. For Singaporean LLDPE Film C4 cargoes, the trader is offering to customers at $20/ton higher than the offer received from the supplier. In the meantime, the offers for US HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes available in Port Klang, Malaysia stand at $920/ton and $880/ton, respectively. However, the trader decided to skip the procurement citing the offers are high. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF Main Port basis. Further added, PE demand in Indonesia is still considered healthy this week.
