A Thai trader revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that a Thai PE producer has announced promotional prices to move cargoes. This week, the producer announced promotional prices for PE cargoes as could not manage to sell cargoes to the domestic market in the previous week following stiff resistance from buyers toward the offers. As noted, the latest offers from the producer softened by THB750/ton ($23/ton) for all PE grades. More added by the trader, the current offers are available for a minimum purchase of 225 tons. For customers who make any procurement less than 225 tons, offers will be higher by THB750/ton ($23/ton), the same as the previous week’s offer levels.
