A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of April 10. Compared to the price list received on Wednesday, April 8, local offers for PE and PP across all grades surfaced with an upward adjustment. For PE, local offers increased between CNY300-1,000/ton ($42-142/ton). Likewise, offers for local PP across all grades are adjusted up between CNY200-1,750/ton ($28-248/ton), while PP Homo Fiber offers went up drastically by CNY2,500/ton ($354/ton) as compared to the same period.
