A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of April 2. Compared to the price list received on Wednesday, April 1, local offers for HDPE grades dropped between CNY50-300/ton ($7-42/ton). Contrastingly, offers for LLDPE Film C4 increased by CNY50/ton ($7/ton) while LDPE Film generally remains unchanged. For PP, the overall local offers surfaced with a reduction of between CNY200-700/ton ($28-98/ton), except for PP Homo Fiber, PP Homo Injection, and PP Homo Raffia Z30S increased between CNY100-400/ton ($14-56/ton) as compared to the same period.
