A Chinese trader revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of April 8. Compared to the price list received on Tuesday, April 7, local offers for PE and PP across all grades surfaced with an upward adjustment. For PE, local offers increased between CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton) for Film grades and HDPE Cable, while other PE grades remain unchanged. Likewise, offers for local PP across all grades are adjusted up between CNY100-700/ton ($14-98/ton), except for PP Random Copolymer Injection remains stable as compared to the same period.
