A Chinese trader shared with SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country as of May 13. Compared to the price list received on Monday, May 11, local PE and PP prices were adjusted in different directions. Local offers for HDPE grades generally maintained stable, except for HDPE Cable 100S and HDPE Pipe increased by CNY100/ton ($14/ton). In contrast, offer for HDPE Yarn 7750M dropped by CNY200/ton ($28/ton). Meanwhile, offers for LDPE and LLDPE across all grades dipped between CNY100-300/ton ($14-42/ton). For PP, most offers went down between CNY100-300/ton ($14-42/ton), except for PP Homo Injection V30G and PP Random Copolymer grades PA14D and PA14D-2 remained unchanged.
