A source with knowledge of the matter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that US Formosa Plastics has restarted its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant located in Point Comfort, Texas upon completion of maintenance works. The PVC plant with a capacity of 798,000 tons/year is expected to run on normal production rates in early April.
