Market sources notified SSESSMENTS.COM that two of Chinese polyolefins producers will bring its PE and PP units on-stream. As informed, Liaoning Baolai Petrochemical will conduct a trial run at its a 450,000 tons/year LLDPE line, a 350,000 tons/year HDPE unit, and two PP units with a total production capacity of 600,000 tons/year on July 20, 2020.
The source added to SSESSMENTS.COM that Zhongke refinery and petrochemical complex, a part of Zhanjiang Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, owned and operated by Sinopec will also bring its PE and PP units on-stream by July 2020. Located in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, China, the complex comprises an HDPE unit with a capacity of 350,000 tons/year and two PP units with a total capacity of 550,000 tons/year.
